Another SC, and I make no apology for it — this is the 911 I keep steering people towards. Three litres, galvanised, mechanically stubborn in the way that matters. Parts are available, every specialist knows them, and you can drive one across Europe without a support van following you.

If this is your first air-cooled car, start here rather than with something rarer and more precious. You will drive it more, which is the entire point of owning one.
